Caring for humans and for the earth is non-negotiable. Womads works with a small family-run factory that provides fair wages and excellent working conditions - partners that we admire, respect, and trust. I regularly visit our manufacturers in person and together we are mindful of our impact on the world while upholding the highest ethical standards with integrity.

Womads is all about supporting women in any way we can. For every purchase, we pledge to give 1% of profits to a charity helping Colombian women support themselves. This is a very important part of who we are and we will increase our impact as much as possible over the years.

We take the extra steps necessary to be sustainable and make a significant positive impact.

Our leather is locally sourced from top-quality Colombian hides, minimizing transportation and our carbon footprint. Even better? Leather is a byproduct of the food industry - we're giving it beautiful new life instead of letting it end up in landfills! As a biodegradable, recyclable material, it's built to last for years.

Our soles are made of natural rubber that contributes to reforestation in Colombia and supports local farmers giving their land new purpose after years of illicit crop exploitation. It's completely biodegradable - no plastic here!

We're thoughtful about packaging too, using lightweight, minimal materials and reusable cotton bags made from recycled materials instead of wasteful cardboard boxes.

The fashion industry often charges an absurdly high markup, sometimes even for poor quality items that aren't made with your comfort in mind.

Our products are handcrafted with top quality materials and expertise, and our goal is to get them to you at a fair and affordable price point. We keep our prices honest year-round - no inflated "sales" or markup games. This means you can actually afford to enjoy our products in many of the beautiful different colors we offer without breaking the bank.
